Počitelj in the Čapljina municipality (A Sudden Gust of Wind)
from the Series 36 Odd Views

Originally I just wanted to fuse Hokusai´s A Sudden Gust of Wind with classic view of Počitelj. Počitelj is mostly built with stones and during summer it gets unbearably hot, a sudden gust of wind is always welcomed. But during my stay in colony we had opportunity to visit Mak Dizdar Foundation in Stolac. Mak Dizdar is famous Bosnian poet, who had this moment of some kind of child’s play experiment in poetry. And that just led me in different direction. Instead of letting color prevail, I pulled out drawing trying to depict a poet whose verses transcend solidity of the stone, time and space like child´s plays do.
